Since the beginning of 2020, the COVID-19 outbreak has evolved into a critical health emergency, causing several deaths and leaving many more to battle the impact of the disease. However, that doesn’t mean that our patients should compromise on their eye health. Contrarily, during these uncertain times, taking care of our overall health has become more significant. Therefore, our offices are open to enable our patients to maintain their eye health. You can book an appointment online to obtain care more safely while ensuring minimal contact. Our patients must also wear double mask and follow all physical distancing guidelines to ensure their safety.
In keeping with the guidelines set by WHO and the health ministry, we are taking all possible infection control measures to minimize the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Our safety measures include:
Screening for Symptoms and Risk Factors Everyday: We conduct health screenings of all our staff, healthcare providers, workers, patients, and all the people visiting our premises before entering the hospital building.
Compulsory Masks: All staff members, medical and paramedical team members, patients, and visitors need to wear a face mask as long as they are in our office.
Hand Sanitization: All our healthcare providers and staff members need to follow a strict hand hygiene protocol to minimize all chances of infection.
Social Distancing: We follow all the social distancing guidelines set by WHO and the health ministry for maintaining six feet distance between all persons. To ensure this, we have reorganized our offices, including all the waiting areas, to enable patients, employees, and staff to follow mandatory physical distancing. Please remember that any patient showing COVID-19 symptoms will not be allowed to enter our premises.
Visitor Restrictions: As a part of our safety measures, we restrict the number of visitors who can accompany a patient. At present, only essential visitors are allowed to attend to the patient as a part of our commitment to keeping our patients safe from the coronavirus.
Hospital-Grade Cleaning and Sanitation: All our offices, including exterior and interior areas, are regularly cleaned and sterilized as per our strict hygiene protocol. This also includes cleaning and disinfecting all devices and surfaces, especially in the exam rooms.
